"I never expressed how I felt," she remembers. "I always kept it in. I would go to school ... you would never know there was something wrong with me."

Together with Rogers and his partner, Carl Sturken, Rihanna composed almost a dozen songs, taking inspiration from dancehall and ragamuffin which are the musical culture of her origin and blended them with R&B tunes. "My music is mostly Caribbean beats mixed with R&B," she described eagerly. "I don't want to be pigeon holed into being just a dance artist because I can sing too. I have ballads on the album as well as upbeat tracks."

Kate Beckinsale hot

Kate Beckinsale was born on 26 July 1973 in England, and has resided in London for most of her life. Her mother is Judy Loe, who has appeared in a number of British dramas and sitcoms and continues to work as an actress, predominantly in British television productions. Her father was Richard Beckinsale, born in Nottingham, England. He starred in a number of popular British television comedies during the 1970s, most notably the series "Rising Damp" (1974), "Porridge" (1974) and "The Lovers" (1970). He passed away tragically early in 1979 at the age of 31.

Beckinsale stars in Kenneth Branaugh's Much Ado About Nothing, in which she plays Hero, a maiden who is the sole heiress to her father's fortune. Two years later, Beckinsale drops out of the University of Oxford to focus on acting, before heating up across the pond with roles in The Last Days of Disco and Brokedown Palace.

She next graced American movie screens in Whit_Stillman's The Last Days of Disco (1998). She received good reviews for her portrayal of a cool and catty WASP college graduate (for which she assumed an American accent), although the movie itself met with a deeply mixed reaction. The following year, Beckinsale, in addition to giving birth to a daughter (fathered by longtime boyfriend Michael_Sheen), starred in her first big-budget Hollywood feature. Playing opposite Claire_Danes in Brokedown_Palace, the actress portrayed an American girl who, while on vacation with best friend Danes in Thailand, gets caught with heroin and is sentenced to 33 years in a Thai prison.

Ellen Page hot

Born Ellen Philpotts-Page on February 21, 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The daughter of a teacher and a graphic designer, Ellen Page took an interest in theater from a young age. She performed in her first local production in the fifth grade and won Canada's prestigious Gemini nomination for her role in the made-for-TV movie Pit Pony in 1997. The busy actress went on to appear in several Canadian television series, including the Pit Pony spin-off, Trailer Park Boysand ReGenesis, as well as the award-winning film Marion Bridge.

Ellen Page's Oscar nomination in January, 2008, was unusual in that, even at the tender age of 20, she was not seen as a dark horse. Already ten years into her career, she was a serial award-winner in her native Canada, had stunned audiences with deeply convincing performances in Hard Candy and Mouth To Mouth and had entered the Hollywood mainstream as a mutant hero in the third installment of the X-Men franchise. Where other youngsters up for an Academy Award had arrived out of the blue due to a single stand-out performance based on a single superior script, for Page to be so honoured was predictable. She was expected to reach great heights and had duly done so.

When she was cast as Kitty Pryde in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), Page gained international attention. Since filming the big budget blockbuster, she's returned to the genre she loves best—dark films such as the upcoming The Tracy Fragment, which she told Tribute TV she finds "intriguing to delve into."
