Missy Peregrym hot
Born in Montréal, Québec, Missy lived most of her life in Surrey, British Columbia, with her father, a minister; her mother; and two sisters. She began her career in front of the camera at age 18 when she started modeling. The print advertisements soon turned into commercials for Mercedes Benz, Sprint Canada, and the Olympics. It wasn't long before Hollywood came calling.
Peregrym's next project, however, proved to be her highest-profile to that date; she took on the lead in the inspirational sports drama Stick_It (2006) -- playing a rebellious 17-year-old gymnast who achieves her full potential thanks to the tutelage of a die-hard, no-nonsense coach (Jeff_Bridges). Not long after that, Peregrym was cast as a recurring character on the massively popular superhero series Heroes, playing the deceptive Candice Wilmer, who could make people around her see whatever version of reality she chose.
The next year, the starlet signed on to her highest-profile part to date, as a cold and calculating illusionist on Heroes. In 2007, Peregrym further enhanced her geek cred with the role of Andi in Reaper, a cult comedy-horror series that lasted two seasons on the CW. In an odd coincidence, Peregrym took her character's first name from Reaper to her next job, playing a rookie cop named Andy (with a "y" this time) in ABC's Rookie Blue.
